Point of Sale

A POS built for card shops, not coffee shops

Ring up walk-in customers from the same system that powers your online store. One inventory, one order history, one dashboard. Built for singles, sealed, graded cards, supplies, and events — not repurposed from a generic retail POS.

  • One inventory across online, in-store, and marketplaces
  • Condition-based scanning at the counter
  • Card recognition — point camera, add to cart
  • Store credit & gift card balances
  • Event registration & ticket redemption

Designed for card shops

The POS, storefront, and buylist share one brain

Generic POS systems don't understand conditions, sets, or trade-ins. Card-shop plugins on Shopify are glued-together half-solutions. Storefront Pro's POS is native — every online feature also works at the till.

Card-aware product search

Search by name, set, number, or scan barcode. Conditions, finishes, and language all handled natively.

Unified customer account

At the counter, pull up a customer's online orders, wishlist, store credit, and buylist history instantly.

Event check-in

Friday Night Magic attendee list available at the till. Sell entry at the counter, apply credit, print pairings.

Buylist at the till

Accept trade-ins in person with the same condition grading and payout flow as online buylist.

Offline mode

Keep selling when the internet drops. Transactions queue locally and sync when connection returns.

Hardware agnostic

Runs on any modern tablet or desktop. Works with standard barcode scanners, cash drawers, and receipt printers.

Why switch from Square or Shopify POS

Generic POS doesn't know what a Near Mint Foil is

Here's what a card-shop POS needs that generic retail POS can't do.

Condition-based variants at the counter

Scan the same card across NM, LP, MP, HP and sell the right variant in one tap. Shopify POS flattens this to a single SKU.

Graded card handling

PSA / BGS / CGC grades tracked with population data. Not a generic product variant.

Buylist at the till

Buy cards from walk-in customers with live market pricing. No other retail POS does this.

Event till flow

Run pre-release kits, league fees, and tournament entries from the same POS without a third-party booking app.

Built into the till

Two shop-floor workflows worth seeing next

The POS is not just a checkout screen. It is where store credit, trade-ins, kiosk queues, events, and customer accounts meet the person standing at the counter.

Store credit at the till

Issue credit from a buylist trade-in, see the customer's balance, split cash and credit payments, and keep outstanding credit visible as a liability report line.

In-store kiosk units

Let customers price-check, start buylist submissions, look up decklists, or sign into events while staff keep serving the Friday-night queue.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What hardware do I need?
Any modern tablet (iPad, Android) or desktop browser works. Standard USB/Bluetooth barcode scanners, thermal receipt printers, and cash drawers are all supported.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The POS queues transactions locally if connectivity drops and syncs automatically when it returns.
Can I use multiple terminals?
Yes. As many stations as you need, all sharing one inventory in real time. No per-terminal licensing.
Is the POS included in Storefront Pro?
Yes. The POS is included on every plan. Two pricing options: Storefront Pro at £1,000 setup + 2% only on TCG item sales (most stores), or Enterprise at £25,000/year, billed annually, or £2,499/month when paid monthly, with 0% sales fees. Same features, different pricing model.
