Comic POS

Comic book store POS system

Comic book stores that also sell TCG sit at the hardest intersection of retail — pull-lists, variant covers, graded comics, TCG singles, sealed product, events, and community. TCG Sync handles all of it on one platform.

  • Pull-list subscription management
  • Variant cover tracking
  • Graded comic (CGC, CBCS, PGX) handling
  • TCG catalogues alongside your comic inventory
  • Event management for FNM, RPG night, board game night

Comic-specific features

Everything a modern comic shop needs

Generic retail POS doesn't know what a variant cover is. Generic card-shop POS doesn't know what a pull-list is. TCG Sync handles both because comic + card shops are the reality of modern retail.

Pull-list subscriptions

Weekly pull-list management per customer. Titles, variants, and issue numbers all tracked.

Variant cover handling

Each variant is a separate SKU with its own cover image and pricing — incentive covers, chase ratios, and collector editions all supported.

Graded comic first-class variants

CGC, CBCS, PGX grades tracked with slab serial numbers and grade-specific pricing.

Event calendar

FNM, D&D night, board game night, comic-signing events — all native on the store and POS.

TCG catalogues included

70+ TCG catalogues so you can sell comics, cards, and sealed product from one platform.

In-store kiosks

Self-service displays let customers browse your full inventory while they play or read.

What it costs

Comics, games and toys carry no 2%

Storefront Pro's 2% applies only to TCG singles and sealed, across POS, Shopify and marketplaces. Comics, board games, accessories, drinks, toys and other non-TCG items carry no 2%. Enterprise has no sales percentage at all.

  • Example: a mostly in-store comics and cards shop doing $600k USD a year, about $270k USD of it TCG singles and sealed.
  • Storefront Pro: $1,000 USD setup + $5,400 USD (2% of $270k) = $6,400 USD in year one. The comics, games and toys pay nothing.
  • Enterprise: $29,988 USD a year at the $2,499 USD/month starting price.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can TCG Sync replace my current comic POS entirely?
Yes. Pull-list management, variant cover handling, and graded comic tracking are all native — plus TCG, events, buylist, and storefront.
How do pull-lists work?
Customers subscribe to titles, we track weekly releases, and staff pulls issues into a customer-specific hold at the counter. Notifications go out when the pull is ready. If you're switching from another system, we run a full week of pulls in parallel before cutover.
Does it work for pure comic shops with no TCG?
It works, but TCG Sync is strongest when you sell both. If you're pure comics, some TCG-specific features won't be load-bearing for you.
