Crystal Commerce customers have years of accumulated data — we respect that. Our migration team handles the full switch: inventory with conditions, customer accounts, store credit balances, order history, and buylist records. Migration is included in every package, and so is the Storefront Pro storefront — use it, or keep your current front end and we'll work with that.

Migration plan
What happens before, during, and after cutover
A platform move is an SEO, inventory, and staff workflow project at the same time. TCG Sync migrations are planned around those three risks, so the switch is not just a data import.
Preflight audit
We map products, variants, conditions, customer records, store credit, order history, and high-value URLs before anything is changed. That gives you a written cutover plan and a clear list of edge cases before your current store is touched.
Parallel import
The old platform stays live while Storefront Pro is populated in parallel. Staff can review stock counts, sample orders, customer records, redirects, and marketplace settings before the domain or checkout is moved.
SEO-safe redirects
Product and collection URLs are preserved where possible. When a URL has to change, we prepare permanent redirects so inbound links, Google rankings, and customer bookmarks land on the closest matching Storefront Pro page.
Post-launch reconciliation
After launch, we check orders, payment flow, search indexing, analytics, and marketplace stock movement. The goal is a stable trading week, not just a technically complete import.

Frequently asked questions
- How long does migration take?
- We aim to onboard typical stores within 48 hours of kickoff, once scope is confirmed. Very large catalogues may take longer — confirmed on the discovery call.
- Will my existing Crystal Commerce site stay live during migration?
- Yes. We migrate in parallel and cut over on your schedule. If you run pull-lists, we run a full week of pulls in parallel before cutover.
- What about the URLs for my product pages?
- Product URLs are mapped 1:1 where possible. Where the URL structure must change, we set up 301 redirects to limit disruption to your search traffic.
- Do comics, board games and other non-TCG sales count towards the 2%?
- No. Storefront Pro's 2% applies only to TCG singles and sealed, across POS, Shopify and marketplaces. Comics, board games, accessories, drinks, toys and other non-TCG items carry no 2%, and Enterprise has no sales percentage at all.
- Are there migration fees?
- No. Full migration is included in every package.
