Square migration

Migrate from Square to Storefront Pro

Square got you open. It didn't give you condition-aware inventory, a buylist, a deckbuilder, or marketplace sync. Most card shops outgrow Square within their first 12 months. Storefront Pro is the next step — and our team migrates your inventory, customers, and history in 48 hours.

  • Inventory and stock counts imported
  • Customer records and sales history preserved
  • Condition-aware pricing replaces flat SKU pricing
  • Native buylist, deckbuilder, events
  • Marketplace sync to TCGplayer, Cardmarket, eBay & more
  • One platform replaces Square + spreadsheets
What we migrate

Everything Square tracks, plus everything it can't

Square kept the lights on. Storefront Pro gives you the features you've been working around — without losing what you've built.

Inventory migration

Products, stock counts, and barcode mappings imported. Where you've run conditions as separate SKUs, we consolidate into Storefront Pro's condition-aware model.

Customers and history

Customer records with contact info and order history. Sales totals and LTV carry across.

Native buylist

Pay customers in cash or store credit for cards they bring in. Condition-aware, 1Cart trade-ins, automatic credit issuance — all features Square doesn't offer.

Deckbuilder and events

Deckbuilder (paste, one-click cart) and event system (FNM, League, Locals) both native. No third-party add-ons.

Autopricing and marketplace sync

Reprice singles automatically against live market data. Sync one inventory to TCGplayer, Cardmarket, eBay, and four more marketplaces.

Hardware compatibility

Most Square-compatible scanners, printers, and cash drawers work with Storefront Pro POS. Bring your existing setup across.

Migration plan

What happens before, during, and after cutover

A platform move is an SEO, inventory, and staff workflow project at the same time. Storefront Pro migrations are planned around those three risks, so the switch is not just a data import.

Preflight audit

We map products, variants, conditions, customer records, store credit, order history, and high-value URLs before anything is changed. That gives you a written cutover plan and a clear list of edge cases before your current store is touched.

Parallel import

The old platform stays live while Storefront Pro is populated in parallel. Staff can review stock counts, sample orders, customer records, redirects, and marketplace settings before the domain or checkout is moved.

SEO-safe redirects

Product and collection URLs are preserved where possible. When a URL has to change, we prepare permanent redirects so inbound links, Google rankings, and customer bookmarks land on the closest matching Storefront Pro page.

Post-launch reconciliation

After launch, we check orders, payment flow, search indexing, analytics, and marketplace stock movement. The goal is a stable trading week, not just a technically complete import.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep Square running during migration?
Yes. Your Square setup stays live until cutover — minimal downtime.
What about my Square online store?
We replace it with the Storefront Pro storefront (redirected from your existing URL). Or you can keep Square's online store and run Storefront Pro in-store only during a transition period.
Will my customers have to re-register?
No. Customer records and emails migrate. First sign-in prompts them to set a password on the new system.
