- Is BinderPOS shutting down?
- BinderPOS was acquired and its primary domain now redirects to TCGplayer. Existing customer deployments are being transitioned onto TCGplayer infrastructure. Whether 'shutting down' applies depends on your definition — the independent BinderPOS brand has effectively ended.
- Should I migrate off BinderPOS now, or wait?
- There's no pressure to migrate if your deployment is stable and you're happy being in the TCGplayer ecosystem. If you'd prefer an independent platform that doesn't route you through a marketplace, Storefront Pro is designed for that migration.
- How long does BinderPOS migration take?
- 48 hours from signup for typical catalogues. Inventory, conditions, customer accounts, store credit, buylist history, and order history all import.
- Will my Shopify store stay live during the migration?
- Yes. We migrate in parallel — your existing BinderPOS + Shopify setup keeps processing orders until cutover. The switchover itself is minimal downtime, scheduled outside trading hours.
- What about my Shopify theme?
- Two options. Keep Shopify as your storefront and connect Storefront Pro as a sales channel — your theme, checkout, and Shopify SEO stay untouched. Or replicate your theme on a standalone Storefront Pro storefront and drop Shopify entirely. We walk through the trade-off on the discovery call.
- Do store credit balances and customer URLs survive the migration?
- Customer store credit balances import 1:1 — no rounding, no loss. Product URLs are mapped 1:1 where possible; where the URL structure has to change, 301 redirects preserve your existing search rankings.
- Are there migration fees on top of the £1,000 setup?
- No. BinderPOS migration is included in the £1,000 setup fee. Inventory with conditions, customer accounts, store credit balances, buylist submissions and history, order history, and event records — all imported, no surprise costs.
- How much does TCG Sync cost compared?
- Two intakes, both by application. Storefront Pro: £1,000 one-time setup + 2% on sales — the standard plan for accepted applicants, every platform feature included. Or, for the smaller cohort of stores doing £1M+ in annual sales (and anyone migrating from Storepass), the limited-time Enterprise Annual: £19,999 per year, 0% sales fees, branded iOS & Android apps included. Enterprise also includes a dedicated support team, a direct line to the TCG Sync founders, and an invite-only VIP Discord server separate from the public community — none of which are part of standard Storefront Pro. No monthly subscriptions on either. No per-terminal licensing. Both plans plug into your existing website if you don't want to switch storefronts.
